I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT is an evidence-based model rooted in attachment theory that promotes emotional regulation through emotional expression. In couples, there is often a pursuer and a withdrawer, which results in both people feeling unhappy in their roles, but unsure how to break out of old patterns. Couples therapy provides a space where you and your partner can practice expressing your emotions, listen with your hearts and experience closeness that extends to your life outside of therapy.
